This small friendly hotel was built in 2004 on
the popular and charming peninsula of Lance Aux Epines. the hotel is just 150
yards from the golden sandy beach of Prickly Bay, which is very safe for swimming
and wonderfully quiet for just relaxing. Monmot has 20 suites arranged around
a lovely freshwater pool and all the suites are well furnished and equipped
to a high standard. Some have full kitchen facilities, some have air-conditioning
and some have interconnecting doors which make them ideal of families. The
hotel has a bar and also its own restaurant, Gaths, which serves good local
dishes in an atmospheric setting overlooking the floodlit pool. Monmot was
designed and built by Alexis Rennie and it now offers good, affordable accommodation
close to one of Grenada's loveliest beaches and with walking distance of other
restaurants.
