Coyaba is the Arawak Indian word for ‘heaven’ – and early risers who wander from their rooms through the lush tropical gardens and onto the 2 miles of golden sand that is Grand Anse beach will understand! 80 rooms are spread over acres of grounds which are also home to the hotel pool with its swim-up bar. All rooms are within a minute or so stroll of the sands and some have wonderful sea views.
The Arawakabana restaurant features a blend of international dishes with the best of local Grenadian produce, whilst the more casual poolside Carbet restaurant offers simple tasty meals to guests daytime and evening. The hotel also has two bars as well as the swim-up pool bar.
All the rooms have private verandas and the hotel is within walking distance of other restaurants as well as a variety of shops in the Grand Anse shopping mall. The hotel is also the home of EcoDive – one of Grenada’s leading scuba diving centres and they offer a range of watersports too. Coyaba is a family owned hotel and the Cherman brothers, Richard and Andre, have created an excellent hotel in one of the most perfect beachside settings in Grenada.
