A typical 8-day, 7-night Horizon Yacht Charters cruise
[jg_row ][jg_column type=’one-third’]
Day 1: Join the yacht and captain at Horizon Yacht Charters base for an early departure. An exhilarating day sailing to Tyrrel Bay, on the island of Carriacou, a volcanic peak created 26 to 36 million years ago. Enjoy cruising 20 miles up the leeward west shore of Grenada, accompanied by the nutmeg-scented trade winds. A brisk 10-mile reach from the north-west shore of Grenada past Diamond rock, and Ille de Ronde, to Carriacou makes the first drink at one of the local rum shops taste even better
Day 2: Breakfast and swim at Sandy Island, a flawless piece of sand with no more than half a dozen palm trees. Watch the pelicans performing aerobatics around your boat as you eat. Snorkel the reef, before sailing over to anchor for the night at Petit St. Vincent; in the dinghy you may wish to go ashore at Petite Martinique.
Day 3: Sail over to Clifton Harbour, Union Island, where you complete check in formalities for St. Vincent territory. Shop for fresh pineapple and delicious homemade bread before taking a short sail to palm-lined Saltwhistle Bay, Mayreau. Take an afternoon stroll to the top of Mayreau and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding islands. The choice of restaurants for a night ashore is great.
Day 4: It’s an hours sail in the morning to the Tobago Cays. Simply spectacular! Explore the beaches of the cays, walk up to view the islands from the hill top. Snorkel the reef enjoying the diverse marine life. Dine aboard under the stars.

Day 5: Head north to Charlestown Bay, Canouan, a small island with a big future. The exclusive Raffles resort on the northern shore can be visited or take a stroll around the village and meet some new friends who are very welcoming.
Day 6: Set off south, this time heading for the west side of Union Island. Chatham Bay is your destination, a beautiful deserted bay surrounded by hills. A beach barbeque with a local chef can provide great entertainment on an otherwise quiet night.
Day 7: Sail back to Grenada and overnight at Prickly Bay, a large bay on the south coast of Grenada. Enjoy a last night meal at one of the many local restaurants; on Friday the local reggae band plays at the dock, so join the dancing party.
Day 8: Enjoy a leisurely sail back around to True Blue Bay for a noon finish. The crew at Horizon will be available to assist you, whether you are staying on a few days at the hotel or preparing to
